Tulip Festival

This weekend we went to the Tulip Festival and had a blast. It was amazing to see fields of tulips that looked like went on and on forever. And the colors were so beautiful! We also stopped at a local creamery where Madison was able to see some cows up close.

No more long drives for awhile!

It feels so good to be settled into our cottage home for now. No more hotels or fast food for awhile! Yeah! Since we only have about 6 weeks here before Jason deploys, we plan on making the most of it by going on lots of hikes, maybe some whale watching, and enjoying the tulip festival in the next week or two. We made it to Washington!

After 2 weeks of traveling, we finally made it safely to Washington! We got to see the Grand Canyon and Yosemite National Park on the drive up here and they were both amazing. Madison didn't really care for the Grand Canyon (since she had to stay in her stroller the entire time). Yosemite was gorgeous and we hope to go back one day for a rustic summer vacation. I will try to get pictures uploaded here asap once we get our computer up and going again. Washington is very pretty, and cooooold! They say that the weather here is supposed to get really nice soon - can't wait!
